Functional Pottery

The rhythms and rituals of functional pottery have long been a place where I can get free from the noise of life and find a quiet place in my soul for deep contemplation. My desire to learn functional pottery grew out of my love of food culture, particularly mezza, or the art of small plate eating I was accustomed to growing up in a Lebanese family. I use these vessels in the rituals of my dining room table, where I feed loved ones with good food and feed their souls with good conversation, connecting all these forms of creation that give my life great meaning.
